Parktown Residence and the Tampines North Vision

The Tampines Street 62 site sits where the new Tampines North precinct meets the existing town. The brochure notes that Tampines was the first town designed with precinct planning in 1979, received the United Nations World Habitat Award, and became the first cycling town in 2010; Tampines North is now planned to add some 21,000 homes and generous green space around the Cross Island Line station.

The result at Parktown is a mixed quarter rather than a single estate: Parktown Residence, a retail mall, a hawker centre, a community club, a bus interchange and the Tampines North MRT station, with the Green Boulevard linking them to the parks beyond.

How the Developers Planned Parktown Residence

The developer’s brochure sets out the plan: 1,193 homes in twelve blocks, facilities arranged across four oases in Park East and Park West, 961 car park lots, and a podium of shops, a hawker centre, a community club and an air-conditioned bus interchange with the Tampines North MRT station connected beneath it.

The project details page lists every confirmed particular, and the latest updates record each step since the 2025 launch.
